Deekay Lee is a Mixed Media Artist and Performance Painter.
Born and raised in Sacramento, California art has always been his way of communicating.
Deekay first began painting in 2014 and quickly mastered the behavior of paint on canvas.
Later that year he was offered an internship under the world-renowned Performance Painter, David Garibaldi. Six months later he became his Studio Assistant and helped open War On Walls, a gallery and art studio located in the arts district of Sacramento.
Over the next two years, his fascination for Performance Painting grew and he began to realize that through his own art, he too, could help change the world.
This led him to embark on his own artistic journey.
In January of 2017, Deekay had his first live performance painting in front of a crowd.
That August, he was contracted by Universal Studios in Orlando to perform with The Academy of Villains. Throughout the four-month residency he completed over 150 shows.
Deekay currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Through his art he wants to inspire others to follow their dreams and help give back to others in need.
